Alan Pezzo is responsible for the group Internal Control System since 2025 (after leading the Risk Management function of the Brand Volkswagen for 7 years), covering all areas of Headquarters, Brands and other subsidiaries. He steers the conduction of the corporate Standard ICS process, enabling optimization of processes while increasing robustness, consequently supporting achievement of the business targets. In the company since 1996, he developed his career from Industrial Engineer to Manager of technical Internal Audit of Volkswagen Brazil and afterwards in 2010 becoming Senior Manager of the newly created Governance, Risk and Compliance area for Volkswagen South America.

I love to combine my analytical focus to evaluate details of individual problems which endanger the company with the necessary wide view of a risk and controls portfolio that can cover new trend topics and provide ideas to the business areas in order to maximize the results of this fascinating Company. By doing this with an engaged team and an exceptional collaboration of other departments, I cannot imagine myself doing something else (obviously excluding my hobbies).
